Beijing, the capital of China, has taken the crown as the most attractive city for talents in China. According to the China Economic Weekly survey, Shanghai grabbed the second spot, followed by Shenzhen and Guangzhou – both from South Chinas Guangdong province.

根据《中国经济周刊》近日发布的数据，北京排名第一，人才吸引力拔得头筹。上海位居第二，紧随其后的是深圳和广州。

北京地区“博物馆之城”建设初见成效

The “Museum Blue Book: Report on the Development of Museums in Beijing” was published on May 18. The Blue Book points out that construction of the “Museum City” in Beijing has achieved initial results.

5月18日，《博物馆蓝皮书：北京地区博物馆发展报告》发布。蓝皮书指出，北京地区“博物馆之城”建设初见成效。

北京宣南文化博物馆换新颜

前4月北京全市经济继续恢复回升

Beijings Municipal Bureau of Statistics released an economic performance report of the city in the first four months of this year. Data shows that from January to April, the capital’s economy continued to recover, with total retail sales of consumer goods, that dropped 0.7% in the first quarter, increasing 1.8%.

北京市统计局发布今年前4月全市经济运行情况。数据显示，1至4月，全市经济继续恢复回升。其中，社会消费品零售总额由一季度下降0.7%转为增长1.8%，实现由降转升的积极变化。

4月份房价数据出炉！

北京新房二手房环比微涨

According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, in April 2023, among 70 large and medium-sized cities, the number of cities with a month on month increase in commodity residential sales prices decreased, while the number of cities with a year on year growth increased. The month on month sales price increase of second-hand residential properties has decreased more significantly.

国家统计局数据显示，2023年4月份，70个大中城市中商品住宅销售价格环比上涨城市个数减少，同比上涨城市个数增加，二手住宅环比涨幅回落更为明显。

Since the beginning of this year, sales of museum and exhibition tickets has increased by 2.9 times compared to the same period in 2019 and 1.8 times compared to the same period in 2021. Cities such as Beijing, Xian, and Nanjing have become popular culture destinations.

今年以来，博物馆展览馆的订单量较2019年同期相比增长2.9倍，较2021年同期增长1.8倍。北京、西安、南京等城市凭借当地丰富的文博资源及博物馆创新举措，成为今年以来热门的文博游目的地。

北京金石博物馆开馆

The Qingyun Temple, built during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, with a history of around 500 years, opened to visitors for the first time. On May 18, the Beijing Jinshi Museum, located inside Qingyun Temple, was unveiled.

始建于明嘉靖年间的庆云寺开门迎客。5月18日，位于庆云寺的北京金石博物馆揭牌开馆，这也是始建于明嘉靖年间的庆云寺首度开门迎客。

2023中国科幻大会月底亮相

This years China Science Fiction Convention will be held from May 29 to June 4. The “Capital Youth Science Fiction Carnival”, an important event of the convention, will be held simultaneously in Shougang Park and Beijing Science Center, focusing on science fiction education for young people, allowing them to experience and enjoy the genre.

今年的中国科幻大会将在5月29日至6月4日举行。“首都青少年科幻嘉年华”作为大会的重要组成部分，也将同期在首钢园和北京科学中心举办。据介绍，活动聚焦青少年科幻教育，让青少年感受科幻、享受科幻。
